  • Responsible for generating revenue by conducting sales transactions with guests in a variety of indoor and open-air locations. Individuals are also responsible for upholding company’s guest/customer service standards, interacting positively with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, and maintaining their respective service area including the replenishment of supplies and by performing the following duties:

  • Possesses full knowledge of all retail products and provides an interactive guest experience through the utilization of suggestive sales techniques and product demonstrations in a positive and outgoing manner.

  • Folds, wraps and bags merchandise.

  • Must be highly efficient while processing merchandise sales and returns by operating cash register or other point-of-sale system and handling large amounts of currency including cash, credit card transactions, travelers’ checks and discounts. Practice proper cash handling procedures by addressing the register or point-of-sale system after every transaction, properly organizing money, counting change back to guests and following appropriate checkout procedures including verifying starting cash bank and balancing out at end of shift.

  • Stocks, replenishes and retrieves merchandise and supplies. Ensures all merchandise is ticketed correctly priced.

  • Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory and communicates opportunities/concerns/situations.

  • Maintains sales floor appearance standards by cleaning floor surface, dusting counters and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes and/or cleaning agents.

  • Greets guests with a smile in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Provides information and conversation while guests are waiting. Says “hello and goodbye – type” comments to every guest entering/exiting through our doors.

  • Assists management in training new staff members within their department when applicable.

  • Provides friendly, courteous service to guests, bartenders and server staff.

  • Demonstrates core values of company every shift.

  • Maintains high-level of knowledge regarding the company’s products and happenings and ability to communicate properly to guests. Establishes rapport with all guests through name recognition.

  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors.

  • Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned.

  • Assists in loss prevention by practicing proper security safe guards as outlined during training.

  • Enforces responsible alcohol management.

  • Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
